My apologies.

I’m sorry I have not updated this blog in a long time.  Starting next monday I plan to update it on a regular basis.  So don’t stop reading!

Anne stood in the line unsettled and emotional, as the crowd milled through the ruins of what once was a school cafeteria. There was ash on the floor, it seemed to be everywhere now, she looked down at her dirty and bruised bare feet let out a sigh.  She was standing for what she believe in, and was going to be the death of her.  She once again tested the hand cuffs restrainer her arms behind her, but it was no good they were on uncomfortably tight and wouldn’t give.  She looked around at all the people reminding her of characters from old television shows, and happier times, before the war.  Mothers, sons, geeks, jocks, and lovers all walking to their death.
She remember the last time she was in this high school, in a line not much different from this one.  It was to vote, perhaps the last publicly free choice she had ever made. On that bleak cloudy day, started the war, and their new commander and chief was the savior of the world, at least the part of it that agreed with him.  The irony was looking at the sky from the roofless bombed out building it was a beautiful day today.  The last day she would ever have.  All she knew, is she would die free, and that was what was important to her. As they lead her to the old soccer field out back. She felt totally alone, but in her heart she knew whether she could feel him or not.  God was right there with her…
